Our Operations
ABM Resources is an active discovery company, aggressively exploring for gold and has a "drill early and drill deep” philosophy which has resulted in multiple new discoveries. ABM is focused on unlocking the potential of what is arguably Australia’s final frontier for large-scale gold discovery in the Tanami /Arunta Provinces. The Company has an aggressive exploration approach and is well funded for multiple target testing in 2013.
ABMs exploration licenses and exploration license applications cover an area in excess of 31,000 square kilometres in the Northern Territory, which makes ABM one of the largest junior-gold exploration license holders in Australia.

The ABM tenements are divided into three distinct project areas – Tanami Project,North Arunta Project and Lake Mackay Project in the Northern Territory.

Exploration of the Twin Bonanza Gold Camp has resulted in:

The best high-grade never before mined gold deposit in Australia – Old Pirate, 1.882 million tonnes grading 11.96g/t uncut, for 723,800 ounces of total contained gold; using a 300 g/t top-cut, the resource grades 10.10 g/t for 611,000 ounces of contained gold.

Metallurgical test work at Old Pirate indicates high gravity recoveries up to 97%.

First gold porphyry hosted ore body discovered in the district – Buccaneer, 15.3 million tonnes grading 2.54g/t uncut for 1.247 million ounces of total contained gold; using with top-cuts of 30g/t for the Buccaneer Main Zone and 50g/t for the Cypress Zone, the resource grades 2.23g/t for 1.098million ounces of contained gold.

Overall Twin Bonanza high-grade zones (Buccaneer HGZ (2g/t cut-off) plus Old Pirate Trend (1g/t to 3g/t cut-off & top-cut)) deliver a combined resource of 7.72Mt averaging 5.2g/t gold for 1.29 million ounces of gold.

Identification of >30 targets over an area 20km by 20km.
Exploration at Regional Projects has resulted in:

Hyperion Project resulting in Maiden Resource of 2.977Mt averaging 2.11g/t gold for 202,200 ounces gold (0.8g/t cut-off).

Extensive Ionic Leach geochemical soil sampling surveys undertaken in 2012 at Twin Bonanza, South Tanami, Lander River, Bonita and Barrow Creek resulting in multiple drill target generation.

Exploration at Stafford Gold Zone completed in July 2010.

Exploration at the Kroda, Emma and Tulsa Prospects at Barrow Creek and Te Anau, Tekapo and Manapouri Copper-Gold projects at Lake Mackay with a total of 9,345 metres drilled.
