We Are Off and Running!

Hi All,

We start this year’s exploration activities from a very strong base. We have a strong cash position, a fully invigorated team of passionate geoscientists, multiple rigs booked, a better understanding of mineralisation and a resource base of 1.67Moz of gold to build upon. The last hole of last year threw up the best intersection of the year and confirmed what we believe – that the Buccaneer Porphyry is capable of not only delivering bulk tonnage resources, but can also deliver zones of  higher grade (e.g. drilling 81m @ 2.03g/t gold including 7m @ 12.96g/t gold). This year we commence following up on those exceptional results. Add to this that we also have the high grade Old Pirate Prospect and thirty other high grade targets and porphyry targets at the Twin Bonanza camp to test.  

So it is with great pleasure and excitement that we announced the commencement of drilling at Buccaneer’s Western Zone. The Top Drill Ltd RC crew are getting through the metres with nearly 600m drilled in the first few days and at that rate could pull 6000 metres a month. Furthermore Boart Longyear will be moving a diamond drill rig down to site within the month. In addition we are aiming to start drilling on regional gold-copper projects such as Kroda near Barrow Creek and the Lake Mackay IOCG’s shortly.

ABM is all about aggressive exploration, quality targeting and delivering results. We consciously manage risk by balancing extensional exploration against regional and grass-roots targeting.
